The Journal of History, NCCU

The Journal of History, NCCU has been a leading scholarly publication in the field of Taiwanese history since 1983. Initially published annually by the Department of History, NCCU, since 2004 the journal has been published half-yearly, in May and November. Each volume features a wide range of academic papers, research discussions and book reviews.

The journal’s reviewing system ensures that all articles accepted for publication meet the high standards of the international academic community. Every year since 2006, the editorial costs of the publication have been subsidized by the Humanities Research Centre of the National Science Council. And in 2008 and 2009, it has been included in the Taiwan Humanities Citation Index Core (THCI CORE).

The JOH welcomes submission of unpublished historical articles. Contributors are advised to refer to the “submissions” and “selection process” icons for criteria and information on submitting articles and reviews. If articles are accepted for publication, full copyright must be assigned to the Journal of History, NCCU and based on the provisions of the Copyright Agreement, the journal reserves the right to publish the text in print or electronic journals and databases.
